Ingredients
1.5 kilograms Oxtail Pieces
2 tablespoon Oil
1/3 cup Red Wine
2 x Robertsons Bay Leaves
2 tablespoon Flour
1 x Onion, coarsely chopped
400 grams Tomato Relish
1.5 cup Water
4 x Sprigs of Fresh Thyme
Directions
- Coat the oxtail pieces in flour, heat half the oil in a pan and brown the oxtail pieces in batches.
- Set aside.
- Heat the remaining oil in the same pan.
- Sauté onion and garlic, return the oxtail to the pan and add Quinns Tomatoe Relish, Sauce-a-licious Boston BBQ, water, wine, thyme and bay-leaves.
- Simmer for 2-3 hours or until oxtail is tender.
