A quick and simple recipe to enjoy on a weeknight.
Ingredients
2 cloves Garlic, chopped
1 handful Basil, chopped
1 teaspoon Paprika
2 teaspoons Turmeric
4 tablespoon Sauce-a-licious Peri Peri Sauce
500 grams meatballs
Nou Gaan Ons Braai Braai Spice to taste
1 tin relish
2 cups rice
1 cup chopped vegetables (any combination)
Directions
- Pan fry garlic, basil, paprika, turmeric and Sauce-a-licious Peri Peri sauce.
- Add meatballs and sprinkle with Nou Gaan Ons Braai Braai Spice
- Cook on high heat till cooked through.
- Pour relish over and continue to cook on low heat.
- Cook rice with turmeric separately and add your choice of chopped vegetables.
- Plate and drizzle with balsamic concentrate.
